Bilaspur. A meeting of the state executive of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Rice Millers Association was held in the capital today. In this meeting, after discussing the custom milling policy with the government, further decisions were agreed upon. The meeting was chaired by state president Yogesh Agarwal, in which he said that after detailed discussions with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, and F

  1. Custom milling incentive amount: The government has approved an incentive of ₹ 80 per quintal.
  2. Transportation rates: Transportation rates were agreed upon at SLC.
  3. Removal of CCTV cameras: The government agreed to remove CCTV cameras.
  4. Bank Guarantee: Agreement was also reached on the issue of bank guarantee.
  5. Other issues: Discussions are ongoing regarding the terms of the contract.

The executive meeting unanimously decided that right now they (rice millers) will deposit the gunny bags and get registered. Also, a demand was made to the government that the terms of the agreement should be improved soon, so that the work of custom milling can start smoothly.
