Raipur. After Chhattisgarh Waqf Board Chairman Dr. Salim Raj received death threats, his security will now be increased. State Home Minister Vijay Sharma today described the threats being received by Dr. Salim Raj as unfortunate. He said that Waqf Board Chairman Salim Raj has received threats because he had tried to stop madrasas where political activities were being conducted instead of religious activities, in order to maintain cleanliness and purity. Home Minister Sharma said that his security will be increased further. He should work with clarity, the government is with him.

According to the instructions, the Mutwallis will now give information about the sermons to be held in mosques to the Waqf Board.
