Goyal accused of paying money to select Congress leader’s daughter and son-in-law
The CBI has issued a press note informing about the arrest of both the accused. The CBI said, Taman Sonawani, the then Chairman of Chhattisgarh CGPSC and SK Goyal, Director of Shri Bajrang Power and Ispat Limited, Raipur, have been arrested in the CGPSC recruitment scam case. This arrest has been made in a case related to the selection of candidates in the CGPSC examination for the posts of Deputy Collector, DSP and other senior posts in the state of Chhattisgarh. Goyal has been arrested on charges of giving bribe for the selection of Congress leader Sudhir Katiyar’s daughter and son-in-law in the PSC.who play with your future will be given the harshest punishment.Let us tell you that the CBI had registered a case on the basis of allegations of selection of close relatives based on factors other than merit during the examination/interview for the posts of Deputy Collector, DSP and other senior posts in the state of Chhattisgarh from 2020 to 2022.
