According to Congress leader Nitin Bhansali, the incident happened last night at 9:15 pm, when he was coming out of the Z Blue showroom located in front of Pandri Mandi Gate. The purse contained Rs 6000 cash, three debit cards, important documents like driving license, PAN card, voter ID and Aadhar card. When he returned there in the morning, he found out that his purse had fallen. He checked the CCTV footage of the Z Blue store, in which it was clear that the purse had fallen after he got into his car and an auto driver picked it up and kept it in his auto. However, the auto number was not clearly visible due to the tree in front.
Bhansali has appealed to the police to check the footage of other CCTV cameras installed near the Pandri Mandi Gate so that the auto driver can be identified. He has requested the Pandri police station in-charge to check the CCTV footage from 9:15 to 9:20 pm last night, so that the auto driver can be traced and her purse can be recovered.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police station in-charge has started the investigation and the CCTV footage around the crime scene is being examined. The Congress leader has also provided the footage of Z Blue store to the police to assist in the investigation.
