Raipur. Chhattisgarh’s popular Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has taken a new initiative towards realizing the concept of a welfare state. CM Vishnudev Sai is now meeting the common people directly through the ‘Jan Darshan’ program at his residence and is listening to their problems and suggestions carefully. Through the Jan Darshan program, the Chief Minister is quickly resolving the problems of people coming from far off places and
is taking immediate action against careless officers and employees, due to which there is a tightening of governance and administration. The special thing is that the Chief Minister himself is directly monitoring this program, due to which the people implementing the governance system are doing their work in a disciplined manner.

From June 27, 2024, every Thursday, the Chief Minister Jandarshan program for the citizens of the state is being held in the CM House, through which the general public is able to meet the Chief Minister of their state directly for two hours from 11 am to 1 pm regarding their problems. In the weekly Jandarshan program, the complaints and problems of the public are being resolved effectively. In this Jandarshan program held every Thursday, a large number of people come before the CM with their problems. To solve the problems of the people, the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai gives instructions to the concerned officials.

On the occasion of the launch of the Jandarshan program, CM Sai had said that it has been six months since our government was formed, during this time we have been meeting people continuously, I have been trying to meet everyone, but still I felt the need to start such programs, which are only for meeting the common citizens. Earlier, the Jandarshan program was organized during the government of Dr. Raman Singh. Now our government has started the same program again. The Jandarshan program will be organized every Thursday. Where the CM will directly meet the common citizens from 11 am to 1 pm and listen to their problems and expectations.

The sensitive and quick decision making ability of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai brings smiles on the faces of the troubled people who reach the CM House. The meeting and resolution process is so intimate that the Chief Minister of the state feels like the head of every family of the state. The Chief Minister’s Jandarshan program
is proving to be a symbol of emotional bonding and affinity between Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the public. Vivek Sharma, who lives in Bhanpuri, Raipur, lost his leg in an accident. Vivek’s life became very difficult after this accident. Unable to walk and unemployed, Vivek Sharma was not even able to fulfill the responsibility of his family. But after the Chief Minister’s Jandarshan, while coming out of the Chief Minister’s residence,
a smile returned to his face. Getting a walker rekindled hope in his life and his lost confidence returned. He thanked the Chief Minister wholeheartedly and said, “Now I will not have any problem in walking, our chief has not only given me support to walk but has also shown me the way to live.” This walker is not only a support for Vivek but also a new beginning.

A similar story is of Rajuram Wacham, a polio patient from Bijapur. In the Mukhyamantri Jandarshan program, after listening to Rajuram’s problems, the CM immediately provided him a motorized tricycle. This gift from the Chief Minister not only reduced his troubles, but also gave him the courage to continue his studies again. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai always attends each of his Jandarshans with the feeling that every person gets help and no one returns disappointed from his doorstep and he considers this to be the real success of Jandarshan. Jandarshan also brought a new hope for Usha Thakur of Raipur, who is suffering from oral cancer. Usha had tears in her eyes after getting financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for treatment, but these tears were of relief and gratitude. She not only got help, but she also got the belief that her life matters.

Kumari Roop Varsha, a visually impaired girl from Jashpur, expressed her desire for an orbit reader device to deal with the difficulties she was facing in her studies and the Chief Minister assured her of full acceptance of her demand. This was an important effort by the head of the state to shape the future of Kumari Roop Varsha. People from other districts of the state also come to attend the Jandarshan programme. CM Vishnudev Sai had recently held a meeting with the collectors and superintendents of police on this subject. During this, he had given strict instructions to the officials that common people should not have to come to the capital for small works. Small works should be completed at the district level itself.

Handicapped got financial assistance to buy musical instruments

In Mukhyamantri Jandarshan, the art and skill of talented people also get a new flight. Vivek Bhosale, a resident of Raja Talab in Raipur, who has been handicapped since childhood, who has mastered Dholak at the age of just 8 years, met Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai in Jandarshan and without any delay he handed over a cheque of Rs 15,000 to buy a musical instrument, which boosted Vivek’s morale and made his musical journey easier. Mukhyamantri Jandarshan is a weekly program of the state’s chief Vishnudev Sai in which information about the problems of the common people and their resolution is uploaded on the portal so that people can know what action is being taken on their complaint. Mukhyamantri Jandarshan program is where the applicants can directly complain to CM Vishnudev Sai, while the CM also tries to listen to the problems of as many people as possible.

Financial help given to cancer patient

Chief Minister gave a cheque of Rs. 20,000 financial assistance to Anjum who reached this program with the hope of financial assistance, and this confirmed how much he cares for everyone. Anjum, sister of cancer patient Mohd. Adil Jafri, met Chief Minister Sai in Jandarshan and told him that her brother is undergoing free treatment in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital of capital Raipur.. Anjum told that her financial condition is not good.. She requested the Chief Minister to provide financial assistance for other necessary expenses, on which the Chief Minister
gave her a cheque of Rs. 20,000 financial assistance during Jandarshan.. Mohd. Adil’s sister and family members expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for the financial assistance provided by Chief Minister Sai.,

CM gave instructions for the treatment of the girl child

Jandarshan is not just a government program, it is a living picture of sensitivity, belongingness, affection, care and hope.. Listening to someone’s problems is one thing and finding a solution to it like your own personal problem is a completely different thing.. Every time, people who come to Jandarshan not only return with a solution to their problems, but also find a new hope for a better tomorrow with unwavering faith in their leader.. Nirala Gupta and Vidya Gupta, who came from Bhatapara to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s Jandarshan program, requested for financial help for the treatment of their 4-year-old daughter Nitya Gupta.. Nitya cannot speak or hear since childhood.. Nitya Gupta’s parents told that their financial condition is not good, a lot has been spent on the treatment of the girl, now we do not have the capacity.. On Nitya Gupta’s application in Jandarshan, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai directed the Health Department to take immediate action for the proper treatment of the girl.. Nitya’s mother Vidya Gupta expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister in Jandarshan.. She said that I am very happy with the long-term treatment of the girl. I was worried and had lost courage, now after meeting the Chief Minister I have got new hope.
