Keys handed over to the beneficiaries of completed houses

Health Minister and Minister in charge of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal and Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma participated in the district level one-day housing fair organized at the district headquarters under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). On this occasion, the two ministers inaugurated the housing fair by performing Bhoomi Pujan of the houses approved under the scheme.
It is worth noting that approval has been given to 21 thousand 290 beneficiaries of the district. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), a target has been set to complete 28 thousand 766 houses approved in the district by March 2025. On this occasion, the two ministers handed over the keys of the houses to 5 beneficiaries who have completed their houses. Along with this, along with providing housing approval letters to 5 beneficiaries, 4 Lakhpati Didi, 8 women self-help group members and masons trained under ‘Hum Honge Kamyaab’ were honored.
Addressing the programme, Minister Shri Jaiswal said that the government is realising the dream of a permanent house for the poor. In the first cabinet meeting itself, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai approved 18 lakh houses in the state. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi thinks that every family should have a permanent house, toilet, gas stove and children should go to school. He said that all the promises are being fulfilled under Modi’s guarantee.
Revenue Minister Mr. Verma said that Balodabazar-Bhatapara district has received the highest number of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana approvals at one go. The government is continuously working for the villages, poor and farmers. It is the government’s priority to provide the benefits of schemes to the last person in the society. Chhattisgarh is becoming prosperous and happy due to the public welfare works of the government. The program was also addressed by MP Janjgir-Champa Mrs. Kamlesh Jangde, District Panchayat President Mr. Rakesh Verma, former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Sanam Jangde.
On this occasion, member of Chhattisgarh Women Commission Mrs. Laxmi Verma, State Vice President of Chhattisgarh Scout Guide Mr. Vijay Kesharwani, District President Mrs. Suman Yogesh Verma, Vice President Mr. Ishan Vaishnav, District Panchayat Member Khushboo Banjare, Collector Mr. Deepak Soni, CEO Ms. Divya Agarwal along with other local public representatives and a large number of beneficiaries were present.
