Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has congratulated all the daughters on the occasion of International Girl Child Day and wished them a bright future. In his congratulatory message, he said that International Girl Child Day is celebrated every year on 11 October to solve the challenges faced by girl children, to empower them and to make them aware of their rights. This day is to raise awareness about the problems faced by girl children across the world and their solutions.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that
the theme of International Girl Child Day this year is ‘Girl Child’s Vision for the Future’. Shri Sai said that daughters are the pride of the country, state, society and family. There is a need to provide a safe and comfortable environment to empower them.
He said that the State Government is always making efforts to ensure that our daughters study well, move ahead without fear, realise their dreams and participate in the progress of the state and country along with their families.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh has a tradition of respecting women. To create a better environment for the health and progress of our sisters, daughters and mothers, the government is running many welfare schemes including Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana, Shuchita Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. This is the reason why today the daughters of Chhattisgarh are progressing in every field.
