Raipur. Deputy Engineer Vaibhav Agarwal posted in Ratanpur Nagar Palika has been suspended, the order for which has been issued by the Under Secretary of Urban Administration Department.
Let us tell you that online tender number 152643 was issued for the construction work of new office building costing Rs 165.77 lakh in Ratanpur Nagar Palika, in which unnecessary delay was caused in the process of opening the tender invited for the construction work of new office building without any sufficient reason. Apart from this, Vaibhav Agarwal, Deputy Engineer, Nagar Palika Parishad Ratanpur has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 53 of Rules 1968 after not getting recommendation from the tender committee, irregularities in the process of re-tendering and being found responsible for possible financial loss.During the suspension period, Agrawal’s headquarter has been fixed as Joint Director Urban Administration and Development, Regional Office Bilaspur. He will be eligible for subsistence allowance as per rules.
