Raipur. There is a tremendous atmosphere in the Samta Raas Garba Utsav 2024 in the capital. Thousands of people are reaching daily in the nine-day Raas Garba Utsav program of Sharadiya Navratri. On Panchami, Garba lovers played Garba by assuming the charming form of different gods and goddesses of Hinduism, which was the center of attraction.
Along with the elders, children are also participating enthusiastically in the Samta Raas Garba festival. Children were seen in the nine forms of Maa Durga and in the form of Shri Dev in the Raas Garba festival. Also, glimpses of unique festivals like Chhath Parv, Devi Puja, Kalash Puja related to Sanatan Dharma were shown. The devotees who came for the entire five days of the Raas Garba festival have tried to convey a big message of protection of religion in the Hindu society.
Women recited Amritvani
The worship of Maa Durga continues during the Navratri festival in Samta Raas Garba Utsav. On this occasion, 108 women recited Amritvani on the fifth day. Bhajans of Maa Durga were sung from the Amritvani of the famous reader Rekha Bansal. Hundreds of women from around Samta Colony united in large numbers and participated in the recitation with devotion. After the Amritvani recitation, a grand aarti of Maa was performed in the Ghat.
