Gariaband. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the local people regarding the district level public problem resolution camp organized after a year in the district. However, officials of more than 10 departments either arrived late or did not come at all. Collector Deepak Agarwal was very angry due to which, he said that in the next district

Let us tell you that after the Jan Samasya Nivaran camp organized in Jhakharpara last year, a district level Jan Samasya Nivaran camp was organized in Sinapali today. 320 applications were received in the camp, in which except the application related to form testing and investigation, the rest were resolved in the camp. Collector Deepak Agarwal reached the camp first and guessed the absence of officers during the stall inspection. Officers of some departments sent only representatives, due to which the collector got angry, but he did not take any action and instead found a solution. From the stage, the collector announced that in the next district level camp, all the officers will go with him in the bus. Local people welcomed this initiative of the collector with applause. Many local public representatives including former MLA Govardhan Majhi were also present in the camp, who drew attention to the local problems.

Control over illegal sand transportation

In the camp, the local public representatives verbally told the collector that some officers were playing big games in the name of stopping the transportation of sand for beneficiary oriented works, such as construction of PM Housing, and confiscating tractors. On this the collector, setting a limit, said that action should not be taken on transportation being done for beneficiary oriented works. Sand should be procured by tractor from the same village in which the beneficiary is. Besides this, if commercialization is done, then action will be taken against it. The collector has also given instructions to ensure quality construction of PM Housing and to do regular monitoring.

Appeal for general participation in Swachhata Pakhwada

Collector Deepak Agarwal addressed the public. During this, he appealed to make the Swachhta Pakhwada successful and said that the Prime Minister of the country is serious about cleanliness. Cleanliness is not only the responsibility of the administration, but the participation of the public is important in making the village and the country clean. Therefore, all of you should actively contribute to make the Swachhta Pakhwada successful.

Liquor shop will be removed from Sonamundi
