Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed deep condolences to the deceased and their families in the lightning incident in Rajnandgaon district. He has instructed the district administration officials to provide immediate relief funds as well as make arrangements for the treatment of the injured. It
is noteworthy that 8 people have died due to lightning in village Joratarai of Rajnandgaon development block. The district administration has approved a grant amount of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased under RBC 6-4. 5 children and 3 people have died due to lightning. In this incident, one injured person is being treated in the hospital, he is out of danger.
