Raipur. CM Vishnudev Sai and state in-charge Nitin Navin reached the pandal of Lord Ganesha located at Golbazar. Here they performed the aarti of Lord Ganesha and put a 750 gram gold crown on his head.
On this occasion, CM Sai said that the idol of Lord Ganesha has been installed in Gol Bazar for 115 years. For 35 years, the business community here has been crowning him together. He said that we have got the good fortune of crowning Lord Ganesha here. This time, we have crowned Lord Ganesha with a beautiful gold and gemstone studded crown and have performed Puja. We have prayed to Lord Ganesha that there should be prosperity in Chhattisgarh, there should be happiness and prosperity in every home of Chhattisgarh.
Shri Bajrang Nav Yuvak Mitra Mandal’s officer Kedar Gupta said that today Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and state in-charge Nitin Navin have put a gold crown on Bappa’s idol. He said that the crown is kept openly for all people to see. This is the first such pandal in the whole of India, where Bappa’s idol is decorated with a gold crown. He said that the idea of a gold crown has come up with the committee’s desire to do something different. Ganesh Utsav has a special significance in Raipur’s Gol Bazaar.
