Administration woke up after CM Sai’s instructions: Action started against land mafia, illegal plotting was freed from encroachment by running bulldozers

Bilaspur. In the conference of all the collectors of the state held on Thursday in the capital, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai had given instructions to take action against land mafias who are involved in land grabbing and illegal business. After which today the Municipal Corporation has taken major action against illegal plotting being done on government land. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar gave instructions to take action against illegal plotting done on Nazul land located at Kadudanda, after which the encroachment and building branch of the corporation took action. Under the action, the road and boundary wall built on the plot were demolished and the material was seized.

Please note that illegal plotting was being done by Bhupendra Rao Tamraskar, Rajesh Agarwal and Raju Garg on government Nazul land situated in village-Juna Bilaspur, Mohalla, Chantapara, opposite Nagar Sena, Nazul land sheet no. 1 plot no. 02 (included no. 3) with total area 92980 sq. ft. (2.13 acres) of land in Kududanda. It is known that Nazul land situated in village-Juna Bilaspur, Mohalla, Chantapara, Nazul land sheet no. 1 plot no. 02 (included no. 3) with total area 92980 sq. ft. (2.13 acres) of land has been allotted to Bhupendra Rao Tamraskar as government lessee, whose lease period expired on 31.03.2015. The said land was sold by Bhupendra Tamskar, Raju Garg and Rajesh Agarwal by changing the nature of the land and constructing an illegal colony/plotting without obtaining approval from the competent authority and dividing it into small plots.

On receiving the information, the corporation issued a notice, to which no reply was given. Earlier, the Nazul department had demanded a no objection certificate from the corporation regarding the transfer of this land, and on illegal plotting, the Municipal Corporation had written a letter not to transfer the land. Also, a letter was written to the District Registrar not to register the land.

During the above proceedings, building officer Suresh Sharma, zone commissioner Savita Anant, encroachment in-charge/employee, deputy superintendent Jugal Kishore Singh, Ms. Shashi Ware, Ravi Navarange were present along with zone 3 employees and police force.
