Vishnu Bhaiya sends money every month

Mrs. Sangeeta Pahadi Korwa of Ramnagar village, a village dominated by Pahadi Korwa in Surguja district, says that our Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Bhaiya sends one thousand rupees to our bank account every month. The money received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana helps a lot. We spend this money on small household expenses and purchasing things for children’s education.
Similarly, Smt. Gulabi, resident of village Ramnagar (Barpara) is also a beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. She says that under Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees is deposited directly in the account every month. This money helps a lot in household expenses and if there is money in hand, there is confidence.
It is noteworthy that on September 2, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai transferred Rs 1,000 each to the accounts of women through DBT as the seventh installment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. In the 7th installment in Surguja district, Rs 21 crore 48 lakh has been transferred to the accounts of 2 lakh 32 thousand 840 women of the district. It was decided to implement the “Mahtari Vandan Yojana” with the aim of promoting women empowerment for economic self-reliance of women in the state and continuous improvement in their health and nutrition level and to strengthen their decisive role in the family. Under this, financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month is provided to married, widowed, abandoned and divorced women of the state whose age is more than 21 years. Prime Minister Shri Modi released the amount of the first installment by pressing the button. Under the scheme, in the first phase, more than 70 lakh women of the state have been selected as beneficiaries, in whose bank accounts the 7th installment of the scheme has been transferred.
