, Jagdalpur. Four journalists from Bastar who were falsely implicated in the ganja smuggling case have got bail. The petition of all four was presented in Rajmehandri court today. After arguments in the court, the four journalists Bappi Rai, Shivendu Trivedi, Dharmendra Singh, Manish Singh were granted bail on certain conditions.
Special Judge Shiv Kumar has granted bail with the condition that until the chargesheet is filed, the four journalists will have to appear before the station in-charge of Chintur police station every Tuesday. Apart from this, they will not create any hindrance in the process of justice. This release will be done with a personal bond of Rs 20,000 and 2 local sureties for each. It is being said that after the completion of the process, all the four journalists will be released in 2 days.
Let us tell you that Bastar journalists Bappi Rai, Shivendu Trivedi, Dharmendra Singh, Manish Singh have been arrested under the NDPS Act registered in Chintur police station of Andhra Pradesh. This case was going on in the court under the NDPS Act, 1985. After today’s order, the journalists have heaved a sigh of relief.

Konta police station in-charge Ajay Sonkar is accused of conspiring with the sand mafia to place ganja in the journalists’ vehicle in a planned manner and then informing the police of Chintur police station about it. Based on this information, Chintur police seized ganja during the search of the vehicle and arrested the four journalists. Local journalists demanded an investigation into this entire conspiracy. After this, Sukma SP formed an investigation team and suspended the Konta police station in-charge after finding him guilty.
