According to the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 886.4 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2024 till today morning 26 August, the highest average rainfall of 1859.0 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 487.7 mm has been recorded in Surguja district.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 886.0 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 1242.4 mm in Balrampur, 725.4 mm in Jashpur, 908.5 mm in Korea, 888.8 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, average rainfall of 739.2 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 927.2 mm in Baloda Bazar, 838.0 mm in Gariaband, 680.3 mm in Mahasamund, 776.8 mm in Dhamtari, 836.5 mm in Bilaspur, 938.0 mm in Mungeli, 845.9 mm in Raigarh, 519.4 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 979.5 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 842.4 mm in Sakti, 1185.2 mm in Korba, 896.5 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 532.8 mm in Durg. The average rainfall recorded from June 1 till now is 697.9 mm in Kabirdham district, 868.5 mm in Rajnandgaon, 978.1 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadhchowki, 642.9 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 906.7 mm in Balod, 494.8 mm in Bemetara, 920.8 mm in Bastar, 849.0 mm in Kondagaon, 1062.7 mm in Kanker, 1001.9 mm in Narayanpur, 1102.8 mm in Dantewada and 1190.7 mm in Sukma district.
