Jagdalpur. On the eve of Independence Day, a Partition Horror Memorial Day program was organized in Jagdalpur, in which Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma participated. In this program organized by BJP in the town hall of the city, the speakers expressed their views on the partition of the country. During this, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, the country should remember the horror of partition. Due to the mistake of some people, 10 lakh people died and 1.5 crore people had to be displaced. Expressing anger over the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “People from all over the world are not saying anything about the attacks on Hindus.” During this, while answering a question, the Deputy Chief Minister also talked about taking action against Rohingya Muslims in Chhattisgarh.
Demand for CBI investigation in the case of framing of journalists
Regarding the elimination of Naxalism, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, now common people in Bastar are standing up against Naxalites. Regarding the initiative of peace talks, he said, the government is ready for peace talks, but who will hold peace talks with the other side has to be decided by them. Welcoming the peace march taken out by social organizations in Narayanpur, Sharma said, if any social organization takes the initiative to establish peace in Bastar, the government will welcome it. On the other hand, journalists of Bastar submitted a memorandum to the Home Minister and also demanded a CBI inquiry regarding the framing of 4 journalists.
