Governor Shri Ramen Deka today inspected the under construction Raj Bhawan in Nava Raipur Sector 24. On this occasion, the first citizen of the state, Smt. Rani Deka Kakoti was also present. The Governor inspected the Governor’s residence, Durbar Hall, Raj Bhawan’s Secretariat building, ADC residence, staff clinic, staff quarters, guard room, security office and other ongoing construction works in the under construction Raj Bhawan.
Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh gave detailed information to the Governor about the construction work going on in Raj Bhavan. During the inspection, the Governor instructed to plant trees to keep the Raj Bhavan campus green. He instructed to plant good species of trees so that the Raj Bhavan campus can become green soon. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor, Shri Yashwant Kumar along with other officers posted in Public Works Department and Raj Bhavan were present.
