Raipur, August 9, 2024

Under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, 20 pairs of bulls have been provided free of cost to the Baiga families of Nagchuwa and Dhuma villages of the remote forest region for farming. This will make farming easier for these Baiga families and they will be able to increase their income by doing better farming.

Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana is an ambitious scheme of the government. Under this scheme, continuous efforts are being made to bring the backward tribes in the state into the mainstream of society. All the essential facilities including electricity, drinking water, roads, drains etc. are being provided in coordination with various schemes of the state and central government. 100% Aadhar cards and ration cards of the people of this community are also being made.

For better implementation of the scheme, the District Administration and Animal Husbandry Development Department Bilaspur distributed 20 pairs of bulls free of cost to the Baiga beneficiaries of the special backward tribe of Nagchuwa and Dhuma villages of Kota development block for agricultural work. With the availability of bulls, the path of farming will now become easier for the extremely backward tribe Baiga. On this occasion, the officers of the concerned department were specially present.
