Focus is being done on construction of smooth and attractive tarred roads in Raigarh city

With the initiative of Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA Shri O.P. Choudhary, 6 roads of Raigarh city are going to be transformed. For this, approval of Rs 23 crore 26 lakh has been received from Urban Administration Minister Shri Arun Saw.
On the instructions of Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, construction of asphalt roads has been given priority to make the main roads within the city smooth and attractive. The construction of the roads for which the amount has been approved was being demanded by the public representatives and the city residents for a long time in Raigarh. After approval of the construction of the roads, instructions have been given to complete the tender process as per the approval conditions. So that work can be started immediately after the rains and the city residents can get the benefit of these roads and facilities soon. The
6 roads whose construction has been approved with the initiative of Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary are among the major roads of Raigarh. There is a large movement of people here. After approval, these roads will be built with asphalt. Asphalt roads are more convenient and comfortable to walk on and also look attractive. Under the guidance of Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary, work is being done to improve the roads of the city. Recently, asphalt construction of other roads in the city has also been approved at a cost of Rs 3.14 crore. Along with this, construction works are being approved continuously to speed up infrastructure development as per the needs of the city. Along with basic facilities, work is also being done on infrastructure projects related to education and sports.
6 asphalt roads will be constructed at a cost of Rs 23 crore 26 lakh.
Under the infrastructure head, an amount of Rs 23 crore 26 lakh 47 thousand has been approved for the construction of 6 asphalt roads in the city. This includes the construction of BT road from Ward No. 7 and 8 Jogidipa to Water World Rampur Main Road at a cost of Rs 2 crore 15 lakh 66 thousand. Similarly, BT road construction work from Ward No. 16, 39 and 40 Sattiguri Chowk to Kotra Road Police Station at the cost of Rs 6 crore 50 lakh 86 thousand, BT road construction work from Ward No. 19, 22 and 23 District Hospital to Sadabahar Hotel (Chakradhar Nagar Chowk) at the cost of Rs 3 crore 45 lakh 54 thousand, BT road construction work from Ward No. 30, 31, 35 and 36 Municipal Corporation Office to Chhatamuda Chowk at the cost of Rs 4 crore 17 lakh 99 thousand, BT road construction work from Ward No. 31, 36 and 37 Goga Rice Mill to Mitthumuda Chowk to Transport Nagar at the cost of Rs 2 crore 78 lakh 95 thousand and BT road construction work from Shalini School to Govardhanpur Bridge via Aishwaryam Apartment at the cost of Rs 4 crore 17 lakh 47 thousand are included.
