As part of the anti-Maoist operation being carried out in the district, security forces today took action and demolished 3 Naxal memorials.The team of DRG, Bastar Fighter and Thana Bhairamgarh/Jangla had gone on an anti-Naxal operation towards Hingum and Jharamongia. During this, the joint team demolished 3 Maoist memorials of about 15-20 feet height built by the Maoists at different places in the villages of Hingum and Jharamongia. To curb the activities of Naxalites, intensive patrolling and searching by security forces is going on in the area.
