Chhattisgarh government is soon going to restart Charan Paduka Vitran Yojana and Saraswati Cycle Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai announced this in a program organized at the Agricultural College Campus in Jagdalpur today. The Chief Minister had arrived here today for the district level women’s conference. During the program, Shri Sai pressed the remote button and sent the amount of the 6th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana to the accounts of more than 70 lakh women. On this occasion, on the demand of Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev, the Chief Minister also sanctioned an amount of 1 crore to complete the construction of a high-level auditorium in Jagdalpur city which was lying incomplete for a long time. He also confirmed to the women present in the program that they had received a message regarding the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana being deposited in their accounts.

          Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, Chitrakote MLA Mr. Vinayak Goyal, District Panchayat President Mrs. Vedvati Kashyap, Mayor Mrs. Safira Sahu, former MP Mr. Dinesh Kashyap, former MLA Mr. Subhash Kashyap, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Doman Singh, IG Mr. Sundarraj P., and many public representatives were present in the program. During this, Collector Vijay Dayaram K. gave information about the development works and public welfare schemes going on in Bastar district.

Government dedicated to the poor – Chief Minister Shri Sai

    Addressing the programme, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that like the Central Government, the Government of Chhattisgarh is also dedicated to the welfare, development and prosperity of the poor. Under Modi’s guarantee, schemes are being run for the development of all the poor, farmers, women, youth, tribal and backward classes. He said that as soon as the Government of Chhattisgarh took charge, in the first cabinet meeting, it had approved the construction of permanent houses for more than 18 lakh homeless families. To benefit the tendu leaf pluckers, this time the leaves were purchased at the rate of Rs. 5,500 per standard sack and the leaves were purchased for the entire season. The Chief Minister said that now the profit after selling the tendu leaves will also be given to the collectors in the form of bonus. The Chief Minister said that the Government has fulfilled the guarantee of purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre. Paddy was purchased at the rate of Rs. 3,100 per quintal. The farmers of Chhattisgarh have benefited a lot due to the fulfillment of Modi’s guarantee. The Chief Minister also informed that Rs 3716 crore has also been paid to the farmers of the state as bonus for two years’ outstanding paddy.

We are getting full support of Modi government in making Chhattisgarh developed-

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh is getting full support of the Modi government of the Center in the mission of making India a developed country by 2047. He told that the earlier state government had not deposited the state share of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and broke the dream of 18 lakh poor homeless people to build their permanent houses. As soon as the new government was formed in the state, the money was given to the Central Government by arranging the state share. Now in the coming few days, Chhattisgarh will also get the amount for the year 2023-24 for the houses to be built under the housing scheme. Due to which about 18 lakh people of Chhattisgarh will be able to get their permanent house. The Chief Minister also told that during his last visit to Delhi, there was a discussion with the Union Ministers on the expansion of rail road projects in Chhattisgarh. He also said that there was a positive discussion on the long pending Jagdalpur-Raoghat rail project. The Chief Minister also told that approval will soon be received for the renovation of the only national highway connecting the capital Raipur to Bastar. Along with this, a demand for a new national highway from Kawardha to Sukma has also been made to the Central Government. The Chief Minister also said that the Central Government ministers have assured that there will be no shortage of funds for any public welfare scheme running in the state, including PM Shri Yojana, PM Janman Yojana.   

      Addressing the program, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Mahavriksharopan Abhiyan is being conducted in the name of Ek Ped Maa. Under this campaign, more than 3 crore 95 lakh saplings will be planted in the entire state. Describing this campaign as important, Shri Kashyap said that the sapling that the Chief Minister has given to the women present today, it is their responsibility to plant and take care of it. Lord Shri Ram’s feet have touched the forests of Bastar, that is why there is not a single thorn in the forests of Bastar, our forests are a symbol of our culture and tradition, so it is the responsibility of all of us to keep the forests safe. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, while addressing the program, said that ever since Vishnu Dev Sai ji’s government has been formed in Chhattisgarh, important decisions are being taken in the interest of every section. Our government is fulfilling every promise as per the manifesto. To make women economically empowered and self-reliant, many schemes including Mahtari Vandan Yojana are being run and work is being done in this direction.
       Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev said that the Vishnu Dev government of Chhattisgarh is working fast to fulfill its promises made before the elections. The participation of the people of the state is necessary in this. Shri Kiran Dev said that starting the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to fulfill the needs of the mothers and sisters who run the home, family and society by worrying about their problems is actually a respect for women power and the government is trying to fulfill its responsibility towards the women power through this scheme.

 100 crore loan to 3061 group beneficiaries

    On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed a loan of 100 crores to 3061 group beneficiaries of cluster organizations and women self-help groups under the Bihan scheme under NRLM. Loans were given to the beneficiaries under the Nagar Palika Nigam Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, in which 10 thousand will be payable in the first installment, 20 thousand in the second installment, 50 thousand in the third installment, under which a cheque of 80 thousand was distributed to three people. In the program, certificates were given to 5 beneficiaries who received tailor training under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana by the Industry Department. Compassionate appointment orders were provided to the heirs of 13 deceased government employees by the Collectorate Office. Transferred Kisan Pustika was provided to the heirs of five deceased forest rights lease holders.
