During his stay in Jagdalpur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will attend the district level women’s conference organized there on August 01 and will give the gift of Rakhi festival to the women of the state by releasing the 6th installment of Rs 1000 each under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, he will also launch the Mahtari Vandan App.
It is worth mentioning that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees is transferred every month to the bank accounts of about 70 lakh married women of the state by the state government in view of their economic empowerment.
In the conference, Chief Minister Shri Sai will also distribute bank loans of 100 crores under financial inclusion to 3061 women self-help groups for conducting economic activities. In the program, along with garlanding the statue of Shaheed Gundadhur, the Jal Shakti Rath will be flagged off by Nari Shakti. Chief Minister Shri Sai will launch the Mahavriksharopan Abhiyan in the name of Ek Ped Maa
.
On this occasion, along with the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, material will also be distributed to the beneficiaries of other departments including Industry Department, Labor Department. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched a tree plantation campaign in the name of Ek Ped Maa on the occasion of World Environment Day. Under this campaign, the target is to plant 80 crore trees by September 2024 and 140 crore trees by March 2025 in the country. Under the Mahavriksharopan Abhiyan in the name of Ek Ped Maa, 2 crore 75 lakh saplings are being planted in Chhattisgarh state and 03 crore 95 lakh 85 thousand saplings are being planted by the Forest Department in forest and non-forest areas.
Inauguration of development works
Chief Minister Shri Sai will inaugurate development works worth more than 9 crore 31 lakh in Jagdalpur. These include the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Office Jagdalpur, Tokapal and Lohandiguda at a cost of 48.03 lakh and the renovation of the new Tehsil Office Jagdalpur at a cost of 66.49 lakh, along with Lohandiguda and Burgum police stations constructed at a cost of 2.50 crore each.
   Similarly, a modular kitchen and Annapurna kitchen equipped with material will be inaugurated in the District Hospital (Maharani Hospital) premises under DMFT head at a cost of 01 crore 72 lakh 76 thousand. Along with this, Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra will also be inaugurated in the Maharani Laxmi Bai Hospital premises.
Mahtari Vandan App

To further strengthen the implementation of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Mahtari Vandan mobile app is also being launched. Through this app, information about the monthly payments made to the beneficiaries and the account in which this amount has been received can be easily obtained. If
any beneficiary of Mahtari Vandan Yojana dies untimely, then its information can also be given through this mobile app. Complaints can be sent through this app and the status of redressal can also be seen. If any beneficiary wants to renounce the benefits being received by him, then he can renounce the benefits through the mobile app. Apart from this, information about the guidelines issued from time to time by the government under the scheme will also be available to the beneficiaries through this mobile app.
This mobile app created for the convenience of the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana is Android based and can be downloaded from Playstore.
