Raipur. On the third day of the monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, the opposition brought an adjournment motion on law and order and demanded a discussion. The Chair did not accept the adjournment, but allowed a discussion on the admissibility. The adjournment motion was discussed for more than two hours on the admissibility. During this, there was a fierce altercation between the ruling and opposition parties. The opposition members made strong allegations against the ruling party. The ruling party members also strongly opposed it.
Sai government does not do politics with a spirit of revenge: Home Minister
Home Minister Vijay Sharma, while responding to the allegations of the opposition, said, the opposition members should not tell how an FIR is registered, how sections are imposed. I am well aware of this. An FIR was registered against me. The Atrocity Act was imposed on me. I was sent to jail. The point of telling this is not that what happened in the previous government will happen now. Our government does not take action against anyone with a feeling of revenge. We want to bring good governance in the state.
Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that how did the murder happen in Biranpur? How did the youth of scheduled tribes stage a naked protest? What letter did the Sukma SP write about conversion? What happened to the minor sisters on the day of Rakhi in Mandir Hasaud? How was the attack on Jaistambh Chowk done? How was a young woman raped under the office of Additional SP in Raipur? How did the minister of the then government say on the rape incident that the rapes in Uttar Pradesh are big and those in Chhattisgarh are small? How was 32-year-old Malkit Singh killed when he said Hindustan in Bhilai? Was there a mass massacre in Khurmunda?
The Home Minister further said, I am tired of hearing about the crimes in Kawardha. I wonder what kind of administration was running in Kawardha. Fake FIRs were registered. A Baiga tribal had committed suicide in the police station. If you show one finger, three fingers will be there on the other side. In the six months of our government, the crime rate has reduced. Investigation on the coal scam is also going on in a strong manner. Transparency has been brought in by stopping the collection of Rs 25 per ton. The previous government had started the offline process. This government has removed it. Today coal is being transported with transparency. I am saddened by the Balod Bazaar incident. The situation will be clear after investigation on this too.
