The union’s president Nand Kishore said that we are on strike for eight demands including regularization and labor honorarium and today is the 9th day. He said that we have been working in the department for 25-30 years but the department has not paid attention to our demands. The employees of the Housing Corporation have also shaved their heads to demand their demands. He said that the talks with the departmental officials have failed and the indefinite strike will continue.
Regarding his demands, Chairman Nand Kishore said that the daily wage employees working in Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation should be given Shram Samman Rashi of Rs. 4 thousand. The rules of Labor Act 1948 should be implemented in Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation. Recruitment of security guards through placement agency should be stopped immediately and the guards employed in various branches should be immediately removed from work
Despite the passing of the resolution in the 51st meeting of the Board of Directors for daily wage earners working in Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation, no decision has been taken in this regard till date. The daily wage (highly skilled, skilled and unskilled) employees working in the corporation for years should be employed for the post for which they are being employed and regularization should be done against that post.
All the regular employees working in the corporation should be transferred to EPF, Provident Fund Regional Office Raipur. All the regular employees working in the corporation should be promoted. Daily wage employees working in the corporation for 15-20 years, who have not been regularized till date, should be given the amount of regular pay scale.
