Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai praised the budget and said that every section of the society has been taken care of in the budget.

Reacting to the Union Budget, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the first budget of the third term of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was presented today. The seventh budget of Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman is a budget of vision and strong determination. This is a budget of all, for all, for everyone’s development.
The Chief Minister said that giving maximum attention to agriculture and employment in this budget makes it historic. The most special thing for Chhattisgarh is that where Rs 1.52 lakh crore has been kept for the agriculture sector, the historic package for the agriculture sector will bring a new green revolution in the country and make the farmers prosperous.
The Chief Minister said that the Janjati Unnat Gram Yojana has been launched. This will benefit 63 thousand villages and 5 crore people of the tribal society. The tribal areas of Chhattisgarh will benefit greatly from this. He said that a provision has been made to give five thousand rupees per month to one crore youth for internship and during internship. A scheme of 2 lakh crores is being started for employment skills. Along with this, the amount of Mudra loan has been increased from 10 lakh to 20 lakh rupees, which will help the youth in start-up. This scheme will provide new employment opportunities to the youth of Chhattisgarh. At the same time, in the budget, a provision of education loan up to 10 lakh has been made for higher education in domestic institutions. Which will give new heights to education and skill.
The Chief Minister said that by proposing Rs 2.66 lakh crore for rural development, the government of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will take welfare measures in the interest of villages, poor, farmers and youth. He said that this budget is a budget that will fulfil Modi ji’s resolve to make India developed in 2047. This budget brings forth the concept of an ideal welfare state. It will prove to be a milestone in making India developed.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that a provision of Rs. 1.52 lakh crore has been made for agriculture and related sectors in the budget. This will provide financial security and necessary resources for agriculture to the farmers of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, information of 6 crore farmers will be brought on the land registry so that land related disputes can be resolved soon. He said that schemes to transform research in agriculture, expert monitoring, and promotion of new varieties according to the climate will provide the farmers of Chhattisgarh the benefits of new technologies and resources.
The Chief Minister said that the government has given incentives related to employment in the budget. People registering for the first time in EPFO with a salary of less than Rs 1 lakh will get a help of Rs 15,000 in three installments. One month’s salary has been given to new employees, employment generation in the manufacturing sector, assistance to employers.
The Chief Minister said that salaried people have got a big relief in the budget. Changes have been made in the tax slab, which will save taxpayers. He said that a policy will be brought in the budget for creative re-development of cities and it has been said to complete the Polavaram irrigation project. Apart from this, special attention has been given to innovation, research and development in the budget.
