MP Shri Santosh Pandey also planted a sapling in the name of his mother.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that plantation is being done under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan in the entire country. He said that good work is being done in Rajnandgaon district under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan. There is life as long as there is water, there is life as long as there are trees. Therefore, water conservation and planting trees is necessary for us. He said that experts and scientists are concerned about environmental conservation all over the world. Environmental conservation is being talked about in the world. Water conservation and damage to the ozone layer and carbon emissions are the biggest concerns in the world. He said that cutting of trees has brought about a change in the weather. Where it rains, it rains a lot, otherwise it does not rain for a month. We are all responsible for the new forms of nature that we are seeing. Forests have to be saved from being cut. He said that there is sea water all around the world. The largest part of the water available in the world, 94 percent, is in the sea. Which cannot be used for drinking, farming and other purposes. The water from rivers and ponds falls under the earth after being recycled. He said that only 0.5 percent of water is useful for this world.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that today when we are talking about tree plantation, we are definitely emotionally connected by planting a tree in the name of our mother. Our role is important to connect with and protect that nature. We all should contribute for this. He said that from here we all will take one tree each and plant it in a suitable place. Since the tree is in the name of the mother, it is also the responsibility and duty to protect it. If you see it growing every year, happiness will come in your life and you will get the blessings of the mother. He said that we plant trees for the coming generation. Today we are reaping the fruits of the tree planted by a generation. The coming generation will thank you for the tree you plant. This has started, it should continue. We all will work together in this direction so that our Rajnandgaon remains green and is better from the environmental point of view. On this occasion, he congratulated and wished everyone.
MP Shri Santosh Pandey said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is giving the message of environmental protection to the world in all the programs being held in the country as well as abroad. The Prime Minister told the world that India considers the entire world as a family and the entire world is connected to each other. The Prime Minister’s thoughts on climate change and diversity and his views on forests have been accepted by the entire world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the entire country is planting a tree in the name of mother. There has been harmony with nature in Indian culture and when it deteriorated, there was distortion in the country and the world. In Indian culture, trees, plants, animals, birds, rocks have been talked about and worshipped as living and non-living. MP Shri Pandey said that we get fruits, flowers, shade from a tree and birds also make a home on the tree. Today, through the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign, we have got an opportunity to remember our mother again. He said that whether we live or not, we will always be remembered by a tree.
