Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Transfers Rs 90 Crore 8 Lakh 84 Thousand 20 to Mitanin Accounts via Remote Button

Addressing the thousands of Mitanin sisters who had gathered from across the state at the Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that his government is operating with complete transparency and progressing towards good governance. He acknowledged the invaluable contributions of approximately 72,000 Mitanin sisters, who have been instrumental in achieving significant improvements in maternal and infant mortality rates in the state.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai introduced a new initiative for Mitanin sisters, ensuring the direct transfer of their monthly incentives into their bank accounts. Chief Minister initiated the transfer of ₹90 crore 8 lakh 84 thousand 20 from into the bank accounts of Mitanin sisters, by pressing a button on the remote. This amount includes contributions from both the central and state governments, as well as the Mitanin incentive funds. The beneficiaries include 69,607 Mitanin sisters, 3,448 Mitanin trainers, 289 block coordinators, 176 health panchayat coordinators, 26 urban area coordinators, and 285 Mitanin help desk coordinators.
In his address to the Mitanin sisters, Chief Minister assured that they would receive their payments on time into their bank accounts in a timely and systermatic manner. There would be no delays. He highlighted the critical role of Mitanin sisters in the healthcare system of Chhattisgarh. He appreciated the diligent hard work of Mitanin sisters in remote areas.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, who presided over the event, expressed gratitude for the dedication and commitment of the Mitanin sisters, describing them as the backbone of the healthcare system in Chhattisgarh. He said that previously, Mitanin payments were irregular and lacked clarity on contributions from the center, state, and personal incentives. The new system ensures monthly transfers directly to their bank accounts, with detailed information available through their Mitanin passbooks. Minister Shri Jaiswal also acknowledged the increase in institutional deliveries and public awareness, attributing these improvements to the hard work of the Mitanin sisters, which has brought recognition to Chhattisgarh’s health sector nationwide.
During the event, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai interacted with Mitanin sisters from various parts of the state and honoured them with Mitanin passbooks, shawls, and ‘shreephal’. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, MLA Shri Guru Khushwant Sahib, MLA Shri Indra Kumar Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua, along with senior health department officials and a large number of Mitanin workers
