Raipur, 21 August 2020. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Urban, Governor Chhattisgarh gave 14 National Awards to various cities of the state including the award of ‘Cleanest State’ in the category of states having more than 100 urban bodies by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development by Governor Susri Anusuiya Uike. The administration has congratulated Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria and all the departmental officers and employees. The Governor has said that Chhattisgarh will do better in future and will achieve the highest position in the cleanliness survey rankings. Will also progress continuously.
It is noteworthy that on August 20, 2020, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri presented a total of 14 National Awards to Chhattisgarh at the Virtual Online Award Distribution ceremony, in which Chhattisgarh has achieved the status of being the cleanest state in the country in the Cleanliness Survey. .
