Raipur. The Directorate of Public Instruction has now adopted a strict attitude due to lack of information about accidents occurring in Chhattisgarh schools. The Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) has issued a letter in strong words to all the Joint Directors and District Education Officers of the state. In which instructions have been given to immediately provide information about any kind of incident occurring in the sch

The Directorate of Public Instruction has said in the letter issued, it is usually seen that if any accidental incident happens in the school, then its information is received through the news portal. It is a matter of regret that the concerned officials do not show promptness in giving such information, in this situation, many times the image of the department gets tarnished due to lack of action. Therefore, it is necessary that a strong information system should be developed in the division and district.

DPI has directed the Joint Director and District Education Officers that in case of any accidental incident in schools like falling of plaster, lightning, accident related to students, teacher coming to school after drinking alcohol, behaving indecently etc., inform the Director and other senior officials immediately on phone. Also, if there is any news broadcast related to the incident, then immediately upload its information on WhatsApp. In case of a serious incident, take immediate action by bringing it to the notice of the District Collector and ensure sending a report of the action taken.
