Instructions were given to issue show cause notices to the officers found absent.During the inspection of the District Food Officer’s office, the collector questioned the villagers who had come to get ration cards made. He instructed the officers that people should not have to come to the district headquarters to get ration cards made, arrangements should be made to make ration cards in the respective development block headquarters itself. He also asked the food inspectors to give the login password. He instructed to make the remaining ration cards for renewal at a fast pace.
