Balrampur 05 July 2024: As per the instructions of Collector Shri Remigius Ekka, the pre-festival proceedings are being carried out by the Controller of Food and Drug Administration. In this episode, the joint team inspected food items in various hotels of Ramanujganj. During the investigation, the quality of the jalebi sweets served to the customers at the Samridhi Hotel located at the Ramanujganj New Bus Stand was checked and it was found that the colour used to make the jalebi had expired in March 2024. Seeing the above negligence by the team on the spot, a case was immediately registered against the hotel operator and the sample of jalebi was sealed and seized under the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and Regulations 2011. Along with this, the expired colour which was found was confiscated and the jalebi was cooked with high density oil in Samridhi Hotel, a sample of that oil was also taken. Continuing the proceedings, in the inspection of milk and milk products, milk and cheese samples were taken from Samanvay Hotel, Jaiguru Dairy of the milkmen who bring milk from Jharkhand, followed by samosa samples from Gokul Sweets Ramanujganj and mango juice samples from Rinku Sonkar. During the entire proceedings, the team included food safety officers Nitesh Mishra, Ravi Gupta, Santosh etc. People were made aware of the harmful effects on health due to high density of oil. Along with this, common citizens were made aware to complain on toll free number 93405-97097 in case of any complaint related to the quality of food items.

Suraj has also won medals in Mr. Chhattisgarh, Senior National Bodybuilding Championship and Powerlifting in the past. Currently, he is playing the role of a coach in Kawardha’s “Bharat Health Club” and is giving free training to about 50 youths. Deepali Soni, who became the first female gold-winning weightlifter of the district, won in the 76 kg category. She has also performed brilliantly in national and state level competitions before this. Abhishek Tiwari of the sub-junior category won the gold medal in the men’s 67 kg category. Earlier, he has also won medals in school national games. At the same time, 14-year-old Anurag Jangde, who won the gold medal in sub-junior weightlifting in the 109 kg category, has also topped many district and school level competitions before. It is worth noting that the credit for training these four players also goes to Suraj Rajput, who has been preparing the youth of the district for international level by giving free training with dedication for years. Suraj Rajput expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Sports Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma for his success and the achievements of the team and said that this achievement will become an inspiration for every youth of the district as well as the state. He told that in the coming time, an international competition will be organized in Dubai, for which he will also prepare with full dedication from Kawardha. Bodybuilder Suraj Rajput – Suraj Rajput’s name needs no introduction in the world of bodybuilding. In the international competition in Nepal, he won the title of International Mr. Overall by defeating the experts from seven countries. Suraj Rajput said that this victory is not only mine but of the whole Chhattisgarh. It is not easy to reach the international stage from a small town, but if there is passion in the mind and the guidance is right, then no destination is far. Weightlifter Abhishek Tiwari set a great example of his hard work by winning the gold medal in the 67 kg sub-junior weightlifting category. Abhishek Tiwari says that when the medal came around my neck, I remembered the hard work of my parents, Guruji and the entire district. Living in Nepal, the players there and the environment were all new, but we had pledged to keep the Indian flag high. Weightlifter Anurag Jangde Anurag Jangde, who won gold in sub-junior weightlifting in the 109 kg category at the age of just 14, caught everyone’s attention. Expressing his happiness over the achievement in the first foreign trip of his career, Anurag Jangde said, “I am very happy that I was able to win a gold medal for the country at such a young age. All this was possible because of my coach Suraj Sir, who selflessly prepared us day and night.” I cannot express in words the joy of waving the national flag abroad.
