On the birth anniversary of Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, the Chief Minister bowed and wreathed his oil paintings.
Raipur, 20 August 2020 .The Chief Minister, Shri Bhupesh Baghel, wreathed and greeted him at his residence office today on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna and the visionary late 21st century Rajiv Gandhi of modern India. Recalling Rajiv Gandhi’s invaluable contribution in the Navnirman of the nation, the Chief Minister said that initiatives like visionary of inclusive development, panchayati raj, communication revolution and right to vote to the youth today took shape in the 21st century and reminded the nation of Rajiv ji Huh. Shri Rajiv Gandhi took over the reins of the country as India’s youngest Prime Minister. Rajiv ji’s birthday is celebrated as Sadbhavna Divas across the country.
On this occasion Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Health Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdev, Urban Administration Minister Mr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Industry Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, School Education Minister Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal also laid a wreath on the oil painting of Rajiv ji and bowed to him.
