Approval given to Vadhavan Port of Maharashtra
The second decision of the Modi cabinet is related to the infrastructure sector. The cabinet has approved the Vadhavan port of Maharashtra. The construction of this port will cost around Rs 76 thousand crores. This port will be built near Dahanu and this port will be built by a joint venture of JNPA and Maharashtra Maritime Board. Maharashtra Maritime Board will have a 26 percent stake in the JV and JNPA’s share will be 74 percent.
Offshore wind energy project approved
