Narayanpur: Nine Maoists neutralized in a armed combat with the security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district, which cost one security personnel’s life on Saturday. This operation was conducted on June 12 and included such territories as Kutul, Farasbeda and Kodtameta in Abujhmad.

District Reserve Guards and Special Task Force from four districts of Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Kanker, and Dantewada participated in the joint anti-Naxal operation with the support of personnel of the Indian Indo Tibetan Border Police ITBP 53rd Corps. An officer who spoke to the media said that the incidents have been observed starting from June 12 and short bursts of firing were noted during these interactions.
