Baloda Bazar Violence: A special team of 3 DSPs, 7 TIs, 8 ASIs and 6 head constables will investigate the Baloda Bazar violence case, crimes registered under several sections against 40 to 50 named miscreants

Baloda Bazar Violence: Violence broke out in Baloda Bazar district on Monday. People set fire to the Collector and SP offices in protest against the damage to the pillar of the Satnami community. After which Section 144 has been imposed in the entire district. Now Chhattisgarh Police has formed a special team for impartial investigation of the violence. This team includes 3 DSPs, 7 TIs, 8 ASIs and 6 head constables.

Let us tell you that the people who came to protest, vandalized 100 motorcycles and more than 30 four wheelers parked there including the Collector and SP office and set them on fire. Meanwhile, more than 25 police officers, employees and administrative officers engaged in security have also been injured. The police have registered 7 FIRs under various sections against 40 to 50 named accused who organized the protest and vandalized, pelted stones and set fire to vehicles and the joint office.

During the arson and vandalism in the Collector and SP office, the miscreants also damaged several CCTV cameras. However, during this time the police was constantly monitoring with drones. The police has collected information from video footage and other means and has started the search for the accused involved in the incident. So far, about 200 people have been detained and the process of sending them to jail has been started after interrogating them.

SP Sadanand Kumar told the media that the police team has started arresting the accused. Seven FIRs have been registered in which 73 people have been arrested and more teams are still searching for the accused. Action is being taken against the accused after looking at the police’s video, photos and CCTV cameras. The SP said that it was said that the protest would be carried out peacefully but disturbance has been created by the miscreants. Further strict action will be taken against the culprits.
