Raipur, June 10, 2024: Chhattisgarh Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam has thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for releasing the Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi amount of Rs 20 thousand crore to 9.3 crore farmers of the country as soon as he took oath for the third term. It is worth noting that more than 38 lakh farmers of the state are registered under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Agriculture Minister Shri Netam said that our government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a farmer-friendly government. He said that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is working with priority on the development of the farmers of Chhattisgarh. The Say government fulfilled the promises made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and fulfilled the promise of buying 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. He said that our government has won the trust of the farmers by giving the bonus amount of the last two years to the farmers. He said that fulfilling the guarantee of Modi ji, 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas has been approved for the poor and deprived of the state. At the same time, more than 70 lakh mothers and sisters of the state are being given Rs 1000 per month under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 24 February 2019 for the prosperity and development of the farmers of the country as well as for the honor of the farmers.
