Raipur. Even today, people consider me not as the Chief Minister but as one among them, their brother and call me as well. Due to busy schedule, it is not possible to talk to everyone but we still receive a few calls and talk to people. I want to always stay connected with them. Some people tell me that you are the Chief Minister, do not receive everyone’s call but whatever I am today, it is because of these people. That is why I do not change my nature, I like to work by connecting with the ground. In an interview, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that it is true that even today I am in direct contact with the people of the area. I always keep a phone with me. This number of mine is very old, the day the tower was installed in Jashpur district and the number that BSNL people gave me is with every worker and people of Raigarh parliamentary constituency. At that time, if anyone had any problem, they would call me directly. If there was a power outage or a transformer had to be changed or a hand pump had to be installed, people would complain directly to me and I would resolve it. The benefits of government schemes should reach the last person in the society. On the question of the government’s action plan for the next five years, Vishnudev Sai said that our first priority will be to fulfill all the promises made in Modi’s guarantee. All the schemes including the Centre’s Ayushman Yojana, which the previous government did not implement or created hurdles in, will also be implemented on the ground. Now when the Modi government is going to be formed at the Centre for the third time, we will ensure that the benefits of all the schemes of the double engine government reach the last person in the society. Our aim is to promote tourism, end Naxalism, ensure that tribals get the maximum price for more than 100 forest products, provide basic facilities and government schemes to the five Naxal-affected districts through the Niyada Nellnar Yojana. Whatever necessary decisions have to be taken in the interest of Chhattisgarh, we will take them. Modi ji is moving towards making India developed by 2047, in that we will definitely see developed Chhattisgarh.

On the question of promoting tourism, the Chief Minister said that after the formation of Chhattisgarh, when our government was in power for 15 years, we fought against Naxalism and in Surguja, where Naxalism flourished, we completely eradicated Naxalism due to the determination of our government. Today, only a very small area of Bastar region is affected by Naxalism, but today the image of the entire Chhattisgarh is that of a Naxalite state, which is affecting our tourism. We all have to change this together and this can be possible only with the efforts of everyone. There is immense potential for tourism in Chhattisgarh, which can focus the attention of the people of the country.
