Takhatpur. After finding shortage of rice in the fair price ration shops of the area, the SDM has issued a notice to 11 shop operators and sought their answers. A shop has been suspended.
SDM Jyoti Patel is on action mode following the instructions of Chhattisgarh government in the ration matter. He got the government fair price ration shops of Takhatpur block inspected by the food inspector. During investigation, it was found that there was a shortage of thousands of quintals of rice in the ration shop. In view of the seriousness of this matter, show cause notices have been issued to 11 government fair price ration shops. A shop has been suspended with immediate effect.
Shyam Vastrakar Food Inspector Takhatpur said that reply has been sought from 11 shop operators within a week. If satisfactory reply is not received, unilateral action will be taken.
