Chhattisgarh: Woman burnt alive in grocery shop, accident happened while taking out petrol from the can, everything got burnt to ashes in the fire

Surguja. A massive fire broke out in a grocery shop and a house in Kanchanpur village adjacent to the city on Tuesday night. In this incident the grocery shop and house were completely burnt. The woman died due to the fire. The young man is injured.It is being told that there was electricity failure in the village. A candle was burning in the shop. Apart from grocery and general items, petrol is also sold in that shop. Meanwhile, a young man came to the shop to buy petrol. The woman sitting in the shop started pouring petrol from the can into the bottle, when the petrol came in contact with the candle and within no time a huge fire broke out there.The woman stood in the corner inside the shop after the fire. Meanwhile, the compressor of the fridge kept in the shop burst. Due to this the fire spread inside. On receiving information about the incident, the team reached with the fire vehicle. After controlling the fire, the firefighters pulled out the woman from the fire. The woman and the young man burnt in the fire have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital, Ambikapur. The woman died during treatment. The condition of the injured youth is said to be normal.
