Following the instructions of Raipur Collector Gaurav Singh, the Municipal Corporation is taking action against illegal plating. On Wednesday, illegal plating going on in Durga Vihar Dunda of Boriyakhurd was stopped. Land was being sold without permission, layout and town and country plan.
Corporation officials said that illegal plating was done on about 5 acres of land by unknown persons in Comrade Sudhir Mukherjee Ward-54, Durga Vihar Dunda. Where bulldozers have been started.
Officials said that people doing illegal plating had built Murum Road on the land. All the plots were surrounded by DPC. The earth’s enclosure and brick foundation have been broken with bulldozers. Besides, the road leading to the ground has also been blocked. Action has been taken to remove electricity connections from illegal under construction houses being built nearby.
Information about the land owner was sought
Zone-10 Municipal Investment Department has written a letter to Raipur Tehsildar seeking information about people doing illegal plotting. As soon as the information is received, as per the provisions of the Government Act, an FIR will be lodged in the concerned police station against the illegal plotters.
Collector had taken meeting of revenue staff
On Tuesday, Collector Gaurav Singh had held a meeting of the district revenue staff and Municipal Corporation Zone Commissioner. In which instructions were given to stop illegal plating in the district. Raipur Collector has registered a case and asked to give notice to the person and organization involved in illegal plotting.
Along with this, he has been asked to go to the spot and bring the Patwari report by taking the site Panchnama, photographs regarding the illegal construction and to lodge an FIR in the illegal colony construction.
