12 Naxalites killed in police-Naxalite encounter in Bijapur, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said – ‘Schools and hospitals cannot be built with the barrel of a gun, we are ready for talks’

Raipur. Police have killed 12 Naxalites during the encounter in Bijapur district. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma’s statement has come regarding this. He has confirmed the killing of Naxalites and also appealed to the Naxalites to join the mainstream to end Naxalism in Chhattisgarh and talk to the government face to face.

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma said that I again appeal to everyone that the solution to this dark shadow of Naxalism should be found through talks. We want that development should reach every village of Bastar. He further said that schools and hospitals cannot be built with the barrel of a gun, everyone should understand this. Why should the people of Bastar be kept hostage? There should be clarification on this matter and it is very necessary.

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma while appealing to the Naxalites said that whether it is a single Naxalite, a small group or a big group, CM Vishnu Dev’s government is ready to discuss with them with folded hands. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma said that they can talk through any medium, if they want, through video call or any mediator. With good rehabilitation arrangements, they are requested to return to the mainstream and move forward with the society. There should be peace and development in Bastar.
