Voting increased this time in the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Electoral Officer said that for the first time 72.8 percent people exercised their franchise.

Raipur. Voting for all three phases of Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh was completed on 7 May. The Election Commission said that there has been an increase of 1.31 percent in the voting in this year’s elections. Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale has expressed gratitude towards the officers, employees, organizations and voters who participated in the elections. 

The Chief Electoral Officer said that a total of 72.8 percent voters in the state have exercised their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This is the highest percentage of voting in the Lok Sabha elections held in the state so far.

The Chief Electoral Officer said that the voters of the state enthusiastically exercised their franchise and participated in the democratic system. 

He has also expressed his gratitude to the Central Security Forces, State Police Force, all types of media, journalists and all those who made voters aware and motivated to vote, various public service institutions and organizations for successful elections.
