Raipur. Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh took out a parade of soldiers at the police ground on Friday morning. After this, SSP Santosh Singh held a meeting of all the police gazetted officers and station in-charges of Raipur district in the conference room of C-4 building located on Civil Lines. In this meeting which lasted till late evening, instructions were given to resolve most of the pending crimes, complaints, deaths and missing persons cases as soon as possible. Complaint letters received from senior offices should also be resolved as soon as possible, including long pending complaint letters, which should be resolved compulsorily within fifteen days.
SSP Santosh Singh also warned the police station in-charges where a lot of complaints are pending to resolve the complaints as soon as possible. Apart from this, instructions were given to prevent crimes related to women and children and to take immediate action in crimes related to these and arrest the accused as soon as possible. Police station in-charges were asked to investigate serious cases including fraud and other property-related cases, including locating the accused and quickly arresting absconding accused. Police station in-charges were directed to provide immediate relief to the victims of cyber related cases by providing all possible help.
Instructions given to involve common people in the campaign against drugs
Under the Nijaat Abhiyan, strict action has been taken against the intoxicating substances and strict instructions have been given not to sell any kind of intoxicating substance under any circumstances and during the capture of the intoxicating material, its final supply chain and verification of the accused have been done. Also, under the campaign, policemen were instructed to connect with as many common people as possible and create awareness among the common people against drug addiction. So that the general public can connect with the police and give information about those selling intoxicants to the police without any fear and instructions were given to completely curb it by taking action against those selling/storing/transporting liquor illegally. During the meeting, while congratulating the policemen of the district for conducting the Lok Sabha elections peacefully, the SSP gave DO letters to the officers and testimonials to the soldiers.
Gave instructions to cancel the bail
SSP Santosh Singh laid emphasis on visible policing, keeping an eye on the activities of anti-social elements, surveillance goons, miscreants and old criminals and asked them to run special campaigns from time to time and check them. Instructions were also given to do better work on VIP/law and order duty and protest demonstration and conduct VIP/law and order duty and protest demonstration in a peaceful manner. Instructions were given to identify 80 to 90 such criminals of the district, who are habitual criminals involved in continuous crimes, who are on bail and are becoming active again, and get their bail cancelled.
