BJP leaders Somnath Yadav and Vishnu Yadav fiercely attacked the Congress candidate from Bilaspur Lok Sabha constituency, Devendra Yadav, accusing him of ignoring the interests of the backward classes and even described him as the tainted face of corruption. Somnath Yadav said that even after the bad intentions of Congress regarding reservation were clearly visible, the silence of the Congress candidate is indicative of their indifference towards the backward classes. Somnath Yadav and Vishnu Yadav said that when Prime Minister Modi went into the sea in Mathura and worshiped Shri Krishna, the Congress made fun of it, even then Devendra Yadav’s blood did not boil, the Congress made fun of the thing on which the whole country was proud. They were making it and Devendra Yadav was silent while being involved in corruption, what will happen to the public if it does not happen to its God?
BJP leader Somnath Yadav, while addressing a press conference at the BJP office on Friday, said that if anyone participated most enthusiastically in the scams that took place during the previous Congress rule in Chhattisgarh, it was former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who was his warlord. And the one who has directly intervened in every corruption case is Devendra Yadav, the Congress candidate from Bilaspur. Be it liquor scam of Rs 2000 crore, coal scam of Rs 5000 crore, case of taking protection money of Mahadev App worth Rs 508 crore, Devendra Yadav’s role in all these cases has been doubtful. Now legal action against him is also going on at its own pace. By making such a tainted person, who has serious corruption charges against him, as its candidate for Lok Sabha and contesting the elections, it becomes clear as a mirror that Congress has the support of corruption. Yadav said that the people of Bilaspur Lok Sabha have always supported honest people. Devendra Yadav, who is surrounded by serious allegations of corruption, will face a crushing defeat in this election if he has supported the justice-loving people.
BJP leader Yadav said that Congress candidate Devendra Yadav is keeping silence on all the issues related to public interest. When OBC reservation is being snatched away and reservation is being given to Muslims, appeasement policy is being adopted, then Devendra Yadav does not say anything despite being from OBC category. It is clear from this that Devendra Yadav was no longer concerned with the public and now has no concern with the interests of the backward classes.
Somnath Yadav said that the rights of OBCs are being snatched away in Congress ruled states. Congress has made very dangerous provisions in its manifesto, yet Devendra Yadav did not take any stand. The OBC community has neither had any hope before nor has any hope now that Devendra Yadav will ever stand for the interest of OBCs. He is bound by the instructions of his corrupt party and corrupt leaders and he can never take any decision in public interest personally and independently. BJP state media in-charge Amit Chimnani, district media in-charge Pranay Sharma, Govind Yadav, Lalji Yadav, Ashwini Yadav, Abhilesh Yadav, Prakash Yadav, Shailendra Yadav, Sanju Yadav were present in the press conference.
