Bilaspur. All India Mahila Congress Committee national president Alka Lamba and Rajya Sabha MP Phulodevi Netam were not allowed to use the toilet of the government guest house. Citing the model code of conduct, the caretaker of the guest house stopped him from going to the toilet
National President of Mahila Congress, Alka Lamba has cited the entire incident while sharing the video in her Instagram post. He wrote in his post that today another example of BJP’s disgusting and anti-women mentality came to light in Chhattisgarh. In the government guest house of Chhattisgarh Bhawan in Bilaspur, I and Phulo Devi Netam, president of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Mahila Congress and a tribal Rajya Sabha member, were stopped from using the toilet citing the code of conduct. Ultimately we had to go to some other place outside the government guest house.
The double engine BJP government of Chhattisgarh should tell that under which rule of the Election Commission, use of toilet by women is a violation of the code of conduct? How much further will BJP stoop in the pursuit of electoral politics?
