CG NEWS: Bundles of notes worth Rs 25 lakh found in Naxalite’s pocket during post-mortem

Kanker. While doing the post-mortem, the doctor found a bundle of currency notes in the pocket of Naskali Shankar Rao, who was killed with a reward of Rs 25 lakh in Hapatola, Kanker. Let us tell you that on April 16, soldiers had killed 29 Naxalites in Hapatola forest, in which DVC member Shankar Rao was also killed.

 

Shankar Rao used to work actively in Partapur Area Committee. Post mortem of 29 Naxalites was done on 17 April. When Shankar Rao’s doctor was doing post-mortem, bundles of notes were found in his pants pocket. The doctors have informed the police about this.

Kanker SP IK Alesela said that during the post-mortem of Shankar Rao, the doctors found some cash, which was seized and sealed on the information of the doctors. The amount has not been counted yet. The amount can be in lakhs. Two bundles are sealed.
