BJP accused Congress leader, said- ate biryani worth Rs 5 lakh

Rajnandgaon. Congress leader and former District Cooperative Bank President Nawaz Khan has been accused by BJP leader and current District Cooperative Bank President Sachin Baghel of fake appointments and wasteful expenditure of bank money. Sachin Baghel said in the press conference that the former president wasted Rs 5 lakh on biryani and Rs 5 lakh on sweets. He said that first of all the former District Cooperative Bank President spent three lakh rupees in his swearing-in ceremony whereas there is no provision for swearing-in program after the appointment of the bank president. Similarly, Rs 15 lakh were spent in the name of Kisan Sammelan, Rs 15 lakh in the conference of Congress National President Kharge, thus a total of about Rs 75 lakh was spent bypassing the rules. Nawaz Khan put additional burden on the District Cooperative Bank by spending crores of rupees during his tenure. Sachin Baghale presented its certified documents in the press conference. Let us tell you that the investigation of the case is going on for the last several days but the investigation has not been completed yet.


Let us tell you that Dongargarh Police is searching for former District Cooperative Central Bank President Nawaz Khan. On this, the police say that the assistant manager of Chhipa Society, Govardhan Verma (45 years) had committed suicide on March 24. The police are investigating the matter after establishing a case. During investigation, the police found financial irregularities of about Rs 28 lakh. Besides, irregular loans have also been given to some farmers. Regarding this, Dongargarh Police had issued a notice to the then President of Seva Cooperative Bank, Nawaz Khan. On this Nawaz Khan said that he is coming at 11 in the morning. But since then Nawaz Khan’s mobile is switched off and he is absconding somewhere. Nawaz Khan was being called to the police station for statement but he did not reach the police station. At present the police is searching for Nawaz Khan.
