Continuous protests continue after the death of two employees at Ashoka Biryani in Raipur. A day after the incident, massive demonstrations took place on Friday also. Meanwhile, late in the evening, the family members kept both the bodies at the door of the hotel and raised slogans. At around 9 pm, MLA Motilal Sahu also sat on strike with the protesters.
Both of them died while cleaning gutters at Ashoka Biryani located on GE Road in Telibandha police station area. In this case, the protesters say that this death is not an incident, but the management has committed murder. Police force has also been deployed at the spot, but the people present there are angry.
MLA said- there is a big conspiracy behind this
MLA Motilal Sahu, who was sitting on the dharna, said that both were kept for other work. There is an electrician and a supervisor, I don’t know why both of them were thrown into the gutter. Somewhere there is a secret behind this which is being hidden. It has been 38 hours, the family members of the deceased are sitting here. The hotel management has not spoken till now, this is insensitivity. This is not a normal incident, there is a big conspiracy behind it which should be investigated.

The relatives of both the deceased said that more than 24 hours have passed since the incident. Till now not a single person from the hotel management has come to talk. He said that unless a responsible person from the management comes to talk to us. Till then we will not perform the last rites.
Many organizations are protesting
In this matter, Sahu Sangh City District Cell and Chhattisgarhi Kranti Sena are continuously protesting in front of Ashoka Biryani. In this matter, Youth Cell President of Sahu Sangh, Devdutt Sahu said that there is a lot of anger in the society due to the death of both of them. These were not gutter cleaners. There were also injury marks on his body. Both the families should get compensation of Rs 1 crore each from the management. Also, there should be an FIR in this matter.
Know the entire accident
On April 18, the police received information that two people had died in the Telibandha branch of Ashoka Biryani. It was told that the workers fainted while cleaning the gutters. When they did not come out for a long time, other employees working in the hotel went to the gutter. There was no response when I called. After which some employees entered the gutter and pulled both of them out.
The police team reached the spot and both the sanitation workers were brought to the private hospital of Telibandha. After investigation here, doctors declared both of them dead. One of the deceased was 30-year-old Neelkumar Patel, a resident of Khuntadahra in Janjgir-Champa district. The other one, 19 year old David Sahu, was a resident of Khamhariya in Dhamtari.
Those who assaulted journalists went to jail
Journalists who had gone to cover two deaths on Thursday at Ashoka Biryani in Raipur were also beaten up. The hotel staff was preventing the incident from being covered. In this case, a journalist suffered an injury near his neck. Besides, the camera of the news channel was also broken.
Police had registered a case against 6 accused including 3 female staff of Ashoka Biryani under assault and other sections. The accused were arrested and presented in the SDM court. Advocate Vivek Tanwani, appearing on behalf of the journalists, opposed the bail of all the six accused. Accepting this, all the accused were sent to jail.
