Raipur. Today, Raipur has created history in the voter awareness campaign under the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In a single day, seven lakh one thousand eight hundred ninety-nine people from 29 departments and institutions took the oath of voter awareness. Besides, an appeal was also made for 100 percent voting in the district.
Collector and District Election, District Gram Panchayat Raipur, Government School, Fisheries Department, Nalanda, Central and Takshila Library, Women and Child Development, Horticulture Department, Tehsil Office Raipur and Dharsiwan, Public Works Department, Social Welfare Department, Statistics Department, Construction Department , Legal Metrology, Mahanadi Reservoir Project, Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency, District Antyavasayi Cooperative Development Society, MNREGA Veterinary Department, Kalinga University, District Cooperative Department, Executive Engineer Tilda Nevra, Municipality Mandirhasaud, Public Health Engineering Department, Industrial Area, City Voter awareness pledge was taken collectively at places like Corporation Raipur and Birgaon, Personnel Department Raipur Division, South East Central Railway, Bank etc.
On the initiative of Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, this history has been created in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, on which Dr. Singh said that today various offices and institutions of the entire district have created history by taking the oath of voting. Officers and employees took the oath to vote together in the raining water on the roof of the multilevel parking. The Collector said that there is voting in Raipur district on 7th May.
